Service Experts Family Giving One Lucky Family a Furnace

    February 22, 2016

The Christmas season is over but BW/Cook Service Experts is continuing the season of giving into February. The HVAC and plumbing company who serves the areas near Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky household a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We wanted to help a family stay safe and warm during the cold season,” said Mick Hoeflinger, General Manager of BW/Cook Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning. “We were fortunate to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to offer a new furnace to a local family.”

The winner will receive an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the field’s premier names in home heating and cooling equipment. The unit normally costs approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the new owners money over the years through lower heating bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s NATE-certified technicians, who are experienced in installing a wide variety of makes and models of HVAC equipment, will install the furnace and walk the new owners through the best operating techniques.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always eager to be involved with the local community. Right now they are sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box Skating Rink, a local ice skating rink in South Bend. They are also going to sponsor several local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team in Elkhart.

“We have been an integral part of our community for over 100 years. We genuinely care about the comfort of our customers, and it means the world to us to bring a little extra comfort to a household who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t the first time the Service Experts family has stepped in on behalf of community members with needs. Four years ago, Service Experts upgraded the heating and cooling system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and, because of his weakened immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was crucial to protecting his health. Two years later, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new heating and cooling system, as well as installation, to an immigrant mother who had lost her husband. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new HVAC system to a family who survived a house fire that destroyed everything inside.

To register for the furnace giveaway though February 26th, watch ABC-57 weekdays at 6:00 p.m. and watch for the code word. Then, visit ABC-57.com to enter the code word. One entry per day is allowed, using that day’s code word.

Keep warm and be informed with BW/Cook Service Experts, Lennox, and ABC-57.
